Friday 10/14/11

i tried to update my iPhone & failed miserably.

I ended up breaking my phone & all I could do

was make emergency phone calls. yay for that!

I had to go ALL DAY without “connectivity” —

it was HORRIBLE!!

Danny diehl to the rescue — he got me up and

running when he got home from work.

Thank GOD!!!

friendly NOTE for neighbor across the street from

Ivyland Village. They had an old dilapidated fence

& it looked pretty crappy. They recently had

a new fence installed so I sent a note saying

how GREAT their new fence looked.

don’t live in our development —

these neighbors are ready for Halloween!

We went over to Taormina’s at 8pm.

(AFTER I got off WORK!!)

dinner with friends Judith & Michael —

we are all doing a bike ride on Saturday

we wanted to carbo load on some tasty Taormina Pasta!

oh look — I get to wear a NAME TAG at my new job —

woo hoo!!!

one of the guys was really pushing this wine

Marietta Old Vine RED Lot Number 55

of course i had to try it.

It was a decent wine – “mild tannins” (not real dry)

an every day drinking wine – great to go with pizza.

It was Zinfandel blend made with grapes from a

few different regions. Very approachable,

drinking NOW.

YAY — more birthday presents arrived in the mail.

It’s not too late to send yours!!!

it was a very nice surprise.

later….. i did some “research” with the wine….

DEFINITLEY preferred the MILK chocolate to the

white chocolate……

I like them but these two are my MOST FAVORITE flavors.

as many of you know Danny is a volunteer fireman for Ivyland.

When his alarm goes off the Dogs always feel compelled to

chime in ……. WEASEL “singing”

today I got all my Thank You notes in the mail for ALMO.

(the company I interviewed with on Tuesday)

I met with FOUR people & took an Excel pop quiz

(which was interesting…..)

as Michael calls it – “the lunch meat dinner” —

even though it is WAY more than that —

Fire Prevention Night at Ivyland Fire Company, Station 62

~ IVYLAND FIRE COMPANY had an Open House & they

were driving around reminding everyone to come over

to the Fire house. They had activities for the kids.

Raffles, food, giveaways and fun

remember back in August I rescued a DUCK?

I took it to AARK a wild animal rescue/rehab.

They are having an Open House this weekend

that sounds like A LOT of fun.

I generally struggle with this which is CRAZY!

Whatever I did tonight worked b/c these

were VERY TASTY. Made with two cheeses

on everything rye bread.
